A new joint company was established between the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona and P.I. Parks in July 2009, under the Industrial Development Authority’s Program of New Generation of Industrial Parks in cooperation between the Government and the private sector.

Pyramids Zona Franca Egypt is our first joint project to develop an area of two million square meters in 10th of Ramadan, the largest industrial zone in Egypt and the highest labour intensive area in the country. Its proximity to the expanding infrastructure base of roads, freeway networks, railways, airports and ports provide an effective distribution platform. PZFE and PI Parks will undertake jointly the development of a total area of three million square meters in 10th of Ramadan, Industria East, within a total investment of 80 million €.

El Consorci will provide planning, operations and logistics know how and will provide foreign direct investment through marketing the project in Europe.

P.I. Parks as a pioneer in the field of industrial parks development in Egypt willl develop the project and provide local market knowledge.
